Spark Therapeutics, a Philadelphia-based developer of one-time gene therapy products, has raised $72.8 million in Series B funding. Sofinnova Ventures led the round, and was joined by Brookside, Deerfield, Rock Springs Capital, T. Acquia, a Burlington, Mass.-based provider of digital business optimization solutions, has raised $50 million in new VC funding. New Enterprise Associates led the round, and was joined by Split Rock Partners and return backers North Bridge Venture Partners, Sigma Partners, Investor Growth Capital and Tenaya Capital. Fundrise, a Washington, D.C.-based crowdfunding platform for residential real estate projects, has raised $31 million in Series A funding led by Chinese social networking giant Renren. Read more.

DemystData, a New York.-based provider of real-time customer value scoring for financial institutions, has raised $5 million in Series A funding. Notion Capital, Arbor Ventures, SingTel Innov8, P2P Equity Partners and Errol Damelin (founder of Wonga) were joined by return backers Accion Venture Lab and Arbor Ventures. www.demystdata.com

Private Equity Deals

Aeropostale (NYSE: ARO) has secured a $150 million line of credit from private equity firm Sycamore Partners, which currently holds an 8% stake in the troubled teen apparel chain. Read more.

IPOs

Cafe Coffee Day, an Indian coffee shop chain, has begun talking with bankers about a 2015 IPO in Mumbai, according to Bloomberg. The float could value Café Coffee Day at around $1 billion. Shareholders include KKR, Standard Chartered Private Equity and New Silk Route.www.cafecoffeeday.com

Civitas Solutions Inc., a Boston-based provider of home and community-based health and human services for individuals with special needs, has filed for a $250 million IPO. Barclays is listed as left lead underwriter, while six other banks also are on the registration filing. The company reports an $18.3 million net loss on around $1.2 billion in revenue for 2013. Vestar Capital Partners is majority shareholder.

GS Capital Partners and Quadrangle Group are prepping an IPO for Norwegian cable television operator Get AS, according to Reuters. The float could value Get at around $2.5 billion, including debt, with Goldman Sachs and Deutsche Bank leading the offering. www.get.no

The Alibaba Group has agreed to pay around $250 million for a 10% stake in Singapore’s national postal system, SingPost (SGX: S08). www.singpost.com

Valeant Pharmaceuticals (NYSE: VRX) has increased its takeover bid for Botox maker Allergan(NYSE: AGN), saying that it would pay the equivalent of $166.16 per share in cash and stock, compared to its original $152.89 per share offer. Valeant also said that it has agreed to sell its rights for a group of skincare products — Restylane, Perlane, Emervel, Sculptra, and Dysport – to Nestle SA for $1.4 billion in cash. Read more.

Advent International has agreed to sell Vinnolit Holdings GmbH, a German manufacturer of specialty PVC, to Westlake Chemical Corp. (NYSE: WLK) for €490 million. www.westlake.com

InContact (Nasdaq: SAAS) has acquired Uptivity (f.k.a. CallCopy), a Columbus, Ohio-based provider of a workforce optimization suite, for an undisclosed amount of cash and stock. Sellers include Edison Ventures. www.uptivity.com

The Spectranetics Corp. (Nasdaq: SPNC) has agreed to acquire AngioScore Inc., a Fremont, Calif.–based maker of cardiovascular balloons. The deal includes a $230 million up-front payment and possible earnouts. AngioScore has raised over $40 million in VC funding from Saints Capital, Psilos Group Managers, Telegraph Hill Partners, QuestMark Partners, Pelion Venture Partners, California Technology Ventures and Innomed Ventures. www.angioscore.com

Volcano Corp. (NYSE: VOLC) has agreed to acquire AtheroMed Inc., a Menlo Park, Calif.–based developer of treatments for peripheral arterial disease. The deal is valued at $115 million in cash, plus up to $15 million in additional earnouts. Warburg Pincus is prepping an auction for British survival equipment maker Survitec, according to Reuters. The deal could be valued at more than £500 million, with Goldman Sachs reportedly the “frontrunner for the mandate.” www.survitecgroup.com
